Drudge Report: Flat-Packing
Everything in the flat that's staying behind is packed up and safely in storage with madeline_seb. One more meeting with the lawyer on Friday, and then we're returning to the States on the 27th. In the meantime, I'm waiting to hear the outcome of a phone interview (for a job in the US) I had a couple of weeks ago. Could be a game-changer.

Once again, it's going to be hard going back. A month in London has made life feel almost back to normal. I've gotten to see so many of you, and I really hope it won't be the last time for a long time.

I'm sorry you're having to go back, again. I know how hard it is. *hugs*

I'll be sending you good waves for the job, though! Can you reveal any details about it, or are you trying not to jinx things?

I can tell you it's for an antiquarian/specialist book company, in any case :) To be honest, it's not really confidential, but given I haven't heard back regarding the interview, I'm kind of in that don't-want-to-jinx-it frame of mind.

I completely understand! Good luck. <3

It's one of the more entertaining job interviews I've ever had.

Thank you. On the bright side, the final meeting with our lawyer was very encouraging, so we'll see how things go this time!

Good luck on both sides of the Atlantic, but I hope it won't be too long before we see you again.

I'm hoping only a couple of months at most *fingers crossed*

I hope everything will work out even better than you hope. ♥

That's all you can wait for when you've hit bottom this many times in a row, I think!

*hugs* Is the game-changer in a good way or a bad way?

Hopefully this will have to be the last time you make such a trip.

It would be in a...different way, I suppose. The job interview took me by surprise, and if I'm offered the job, it would mean no more worrying about what kind of future I'd have in the US.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for the job and lawyer situation. ♥

All the best to both of you :)

So sorry I didn't make it up to York on this trip *hugs*

I may be around between 1pm and 2pm tomorrow (Friday) in South Kensington area. Sadly work means I'm less free than I thought I would be...

Drop me an email if you're around!

And sadly, taking care of the last details of scrubbing down this flat have taken up a lot more of our time in these past few days than I'd hoped :( I hope I'll be back soon; there will be reunion coffee.

*hugs* Whatever happens, you are awesome. Always remember that.

It's been hard to lately, so thank you for reminding me!
