My Arisia schedule for tomorrow is looking like this:
10:00 AM

Queer SF&F — 1hr 15min — Burroughs (3E)
Queer topics and characters are becoming more common in science fiction and fantasy—or are they? Do modern authors really do a better job addressing these concerns than in the past? How has the field changed? And what effect has it had on the fans?
Raven Kaldera, Julia Rios, Don Sakers, Meredith Schwartz, JoSelle Vanderhooft

11:00 AM

Setting as Character — 1hr 15min — Burroughs (3E)
In many books, the setting itself is as strong and indelible a character as the characters themselves. Let's discuss our favorite places in genre literature!
Erik Amundsen, Greer Gilman, Catt Kingsgrave-Ernstein, Julia Rios

1:00 PM

Skin Horse Sing-Along — 1hr 15min — Quincy (2)
Skin Horse by Shaenon Garrity, last year's webcomics guest of honor, and Jeffrey Channing Wells has developed a notable abundance of fan-produced re-wordings of pop & rock songs. In this session, we will sing some of those songs. Lyrics will be available.
Nat Budin, Ariela Zonderman

So, if you're planning on going to any of these, I will definitely see you. As for the rest of my day, it's going to be pretty freestyle. If you want to catch up, text or ring me!

Oooh. Cool. One of our CONvergence board members was out at Arisia this weekend representing the land of midwestern Cons. I hope it went well.

It was a lot of fun! I got to meet some people I'd only ever known online/as other names in the publications my poems usually appear in :)

Cool. I hope it's fun and productive. :)

It was very productive, in my opinion. I'm extremely glad I went.
