Revisions to the PhD are finished now; that's the short version of what I've been up to for most of January and February. I've had a couple of short story sales recently, although I don't know if they can be publicly announced yet, so I'll just sit on those for now. I can't look for work till my passport and visa come back, so I've been reading a lot more than usual (hence the recommendations I made a few posts back). I've also been running around London about once a week, poking my nose into parts of town with which I'm not quite as familiar. I've become a regular at Loose Muse at the Poetry Café, which at least means I have a reliable outlet for reading new work.

I know I've been wretched when it comes to updates that aren't writing-related, but the truth is, there's not a lot happening in my life right now. I'm reading, filling out fellowship applications, and quietly creeping about the edges of London unnoticed.

Hooray for having finished revisions!

Also, I'll be guest-blogging this month at Savvy Verse & Wit. Thank you for pointing me in that direction *hugs*

Hooray! I've got a post slated, too.

...although I've got to write it still *headdesk*

I managed to get mine done about a week ago, thank goodness. And it helped me pull together some thoughts I'd been meaning to coalesce for awhile, which was nice...

My guest-post goes live tomorrow :)

Mine went up yesterday! :-D

The revisions are done? That's huge, congrats!

...and quietly creeping about the edges of London unnoticed.
See what I mean? (Any chances we'll see some writing as results of your exploits?)

Yesterday's exploits weren't half bad; slightly odd things tend to happen to me on Ash Wednesday, and yesterday was no exception. I'll think about writing it up :)
