Seer of ghosts & weaver of stories

(You are very much not forgotten)

A poem I submitted to Snakeskin a couple of months ago, "Moving Shakespeare's Bones," is now live in their September 2009 issue.

(This is like what happened with "The Word for Love" in the Summer 2008 issue of The Liberal; I didn't know the poem had been accepted until my contributor's copies turned up in the post.)

Oh, what a nice surprise! :)

Oh, and I love it! Especially how the last incorporates the epitaph. <3

I always, always come back to Shakespeare, for some reason...

They didn't tell you they accepted it until it was published? That seems a bit... inconsiderate.

I would have said so if I hadn't had some email exchanges with the editor; to be fair, I think "absent-minded" is nearer to the mark. But yes, it was mildly alarming, because my first thought was, oh, I hope that's not a simultaneous...oh, no, it isn't. Whew.
