Webzine plug!
All thorns & no grace
Chantarelle's Notebook is in need of submissions at the moment. It's a well-established webzine that's run by Maverick Duck Press, the folks who are publishing my chapbook, Devil's Road Down, this autumn.

I've already poked a couple of you (*nudges highlyeccentric and 22by7*), but there are at least a few more of you who occasionally post poetry to LJ which is pretty damned good. So, you know - give them a try! The editors are positively lovely people.

Also: I have four quirky notecards that I picked up at the art museum in Bruges. Who wants one? The painting on the front is simultaneously very Good Omens and very Sandman, which is why I bought them. Actually, it's more Sandman than GO, but whatever.

They need submissions for the November issue, I am guessing, because the deadline for the upcoming one was July 15. Or is this not so? It's a very neat zine, either way, thanks for drawing my eye to it.

Yes - any subs you send now will be considered for the November issue :)

Ooh--awesome! I might have to try submitting--thanks for sharing!

And the notecards sound interesting. :) Did you ever have any luck with your stationary search?

Hey, email me your address if you'd like one!

Notecard! I would love one! Can I e-mail you my address?

Also, thank you for the link to the webzine. I'll have to see if I have any poetry I might could send their way.

Yes, please do email me your address :)

I finally remembered to e-mail you my address today - and realized I don't know how to e-mail you! Can you give me your email address here, or shall I message you privately through LJ?

Thank you! (And I did submit to Chantarelle's Notebook!)

Getting back a notecard which you got here would be a bit much, or not? But I so love to receive mail...

*dies* I popped a card for you in the mail today - one I bought in London before we left for Bruges!

I actually have a postcard for you in my bag which I wanted to write the past week at the office since evenings have been too busy, but then work suddenly got busy too. So currently the postcard isn't going anywhere, but it should hopefully leave still this month :P

*goes to look at mailbox* Or maybe that's still a bit too early :P Thank you in advance anyway!

I emailed them a handful of poems last night, and told them you sent me :).

Hey, was it you who collects free postcards? I have a handful of pretty ones sitting around at home and nowhere to put them and few people to palm them off to. I could post you some?

Yeah, I'm the postcard collector, absolutely - in return for that, I will send you one of the four nifty cards, because so far only two of them have been claimed. PM me your mailing address.

Oh, thanks for plugging! I'm definitely going to try my luck with Chantarelle's Notebook. (Cover letters scare the shit out of me, though. :P)

I'm sure they'll be glad to hear from you, too. I haven't seen some of your work in a few weeks or so, but every time I do see some, I think it's getting better and better :)

Oh, thank you so much! Hearing that pretty much made my day. :)

PS. Gorgeous icon.
