It'll definitely reach my county's election office in time. If anything else should go amiss, I'm certainly not accountable! Sure beats 2000, though, when my absentee ballot, you know, never arrived.

Chronicler's Hymn
I remember then and now. What I recall is the cold, how it crept into my fingers as they cramped upon the keys. And those words I loosed upon the unsuspecting air with only you to hear were all the joy I could afford. For the young and the dying, the old and the prying, I'd have sought it some long while, far longer than I shouted that these sorrows were enough. I thought,
There will come a day when this is done, and though I may not be the one to end it, I will have seen it through:
I will have fought.
