Glad to see you

I haven't had the best autumn-and-winter season for submissions (owing mostly to the fact I haven't written as much new verse this year as I would have liked), but "Your last word on earth" will be appearing in a future issue of Star*Line. I suppose that's progress. I'm not much of one for making New Year's resolutions, but I've sent out a handful of poems in the past few weeks or so, and some of those went places to which I haven't sent work in several years. I wish this fog would lift.

I haven't done so well on the blogging meme in the past week or so, but maybe blogging from life is slowly but surely taking over. I've never been fascinating in and of myself, I'm quite sure, but at least fascinating things happen to me.

Congrats on the publication! I hope you have similar good fortune with the poems you've sent out. <3

I've had precious few new ones to send out, admittedly, so I've also been sending out a couple of old(ish) ones that never did find homes!

Congrats on the pub and sending things out. And best wishes in that fog lifting quickly. I sure know that feeling on not having a fascinating life to blog, but I'm glad you're blogging more daily things again--your thread in my journal quilt was missing.

I feel like my life used to be more fascinating before I got stuck back in a geographical location I'd clearly outgrown. This is now a city where people get stuck: it's limbo with a few cool things in it, but not enough for my liking. I hope something's going to give, and soon. I'm desperate for change, for anything else.

What do you *mean*, "I've never been fascinating in and of myself"?!?
True that I live in what someone (not me) would call a damn hole, but I find you endlessly interesting =)

When I think of your life and where you are, "a damn hole" does not even appear in the list. You and your location are on my to-visit list that's as long as my arm. There are a handful of places in Europe I never got to go while I lived there, and I may yet still lose my mind trying to get back. I find you interesting, too <3

I hope I make it sooner than not.
