Two of the After Chagall poems, "The Siren" and "The Poetess," will be appearing in Issue 7 of Daydream. The publication is London-based, and it also features a really cool blog!

I think this is how things work: when most factors in my life generally suck (money, academic motivation, etc.), the writing arena compensates with lots of small successes!

Getting there. I just need to meet my upcoming academic deadline, and then I'll feel I actually did enough this week.

Oh, hooray! I'm so glad your writing is doing so well. <3

Of my three and a half years doing this, 2009 has definitely been the best so far :)

Congrats! I really love those two and I'm glad they found a home so quickly!

I have high hopes for the sequence, actually - it's heartening! Or, rather, for the would-be chapbook once I've rounded it off.

That's wonderful! They're all--of course--gorgeous!

I don't know, I can peg maybe two of them that I think are slightly weaker than the rest. "The Siren" and "The Poetess," however, are two of the strongest ones by my own reckoning, so I'm happy somebody else thought so, too!

It's an unusually formatted magazine, and printed in color. I'm excited :)
